The Threat

An assassination attempt thrusts Mason Wade into the center of a global conspiracy, all while both branches of his family come under attack. The Wade family, military veterans with a sprawling Idaho ranch, face new hostile neighbors pushing for conflict, while the influential Acosta family in Argentina confronts unexpected criminal charges. Initially appearing separate, these events intertwine as Mason investigates in Argentina while his brother and cousin defend the Idaho ranch. The families are thrust into a desperate fight for survival across both continents, forcing emotional reconciliations, violent confrontations, and the revelation of sinister, powerful foes. To protect their futures and empires, they must forge new alliances and leverage every possible resource as deeply hidden family secrets emerge.

What Readers Are Saying

Mix the writing styles of David Baldacci, James Patterson, and Brad Thor with the family storytelling of Yellowstone, and you get a taste of what you are in for. From West Coast Venture Capitalists to Special Forces and CIA, this book has it all. Not often do I get the urge to stand up and cheer from the comfort of my reading chair, but this time I did, several times. This book demands a prequel and a sequel.

SKELMIR was an exciting, action-packed thriller. The characters had a depth of definition that brought them to life on the pages as I read. The plot was complex and intricate in its connections to the characters as the story unfolded. Once I started reading, it was hard to put the story down. It kept me thinking to the end as to how the conflicts would be resolved and if the characters would make it home to family and safety. For anyone who likes action thrillers, I highly recommend adding this book to your reading list.
