Mason Wade Introduction – Part 1

Mason Wade is an 8th-generation American patriot. He is the culmination of a bloodline that fought at Gettysburg during the American Civil War, the trenches of France during WWI, the European theater of WWII, the jungles of Vietnam, and the airfields of Panama. Mason is a warrior who descended from warriors. He is also intensely loyal to his family – his father’s family in Idaho and his mother’s family in Argentina. In Mason’s world, nothing takes a higher priority than family.

Mason’s leadership skills are only eclipsed by his skills as a modern unconventional fighter. Despite being an officer, he always found a way to participate in the fight and lead his men from the front lines. During his time at Delta, Mason bent and sometimes broke rules to engage directly with the enemy. Other times, trouble found Mason, helping him earn his nickname and callsign “Magnet,” short for “Trouble Magnet”. While his actions endeared him to his men and some senior officers, it got him labeled as a rebel and resented by many other senior leaders. The U.S. Army continually promoted him in an attempt to keep him out of the field. This tactic didn’t work. Mason found more creative ways to lead from the ground until he was promoted to Lieutenant Colonel and pulled from command in the field. With the help of his allies, Mason joined the CIA’s special activities division, where he continues to operate and lead a small team of seasoned operators.
